I’ve spent the past year working to get back into shape for New Year, and I’ve hit all the major fitness goals I set for myself back in December.
In order to make sure I stay healthy for the year ahead, I need to take stock of where I am on my journey to recovery.
I know that when I look back, I’ll realize how lucky I’ve been to have found a way to keep my mind focused on getting back on track.
Here are my six easy, easy-to-follow resolutions to take back control of your health and life.
Make a plan.
Make an exercise plan for yourself, and stick to it.
You can get in shape by doing the workouts listed below or even doing your favorite yoga class.
These exercises will help you stay in shape, but they’re not necessary to reach your goals.2.
Schedule your workouts and calories in.
I recommend sticking to a weekly schedule for the first month.
Once you get used to the routine, you can add a second or third month to the plan and adjust it if you need to.3.
Get enough sleep.
Getting enough sleep will make you more resilient to stress and fatigue.
It will also help you feel more rested throughout the day, which can help you lose weight.4.
Eat a lot.
If you’re like me, you’ll probably be tempted to cheat and skip meals, but I’d encourage you to eat more when you feel ready to hit your fitness goals.
It’ll help you reach your fitness goal faster, and it’ll also keep your body feeling full longer.5.
Stay away from processed foods.
A good way to make your weight loss plan work is to eat healthy, plant-based foods like whole grains, beans, legumes, nuts, seeds, and fish.
If possible, you should also cut out processed foods like cookies, candy, cookies and other sugary foods, too.6.
Keep it simple.
If your goal is to lose 10 pounds in two months, you need at least one simple plan to stick to, but there’s no need to stick with just one.
It can be hard to stick at it alone, but sticking to one simple rule will help keep you on track and avoid having to worry about any complications. Read more:
